Memento Records welcome on board to its roster Echonomist.

Hailing from Greece, he’s been establishing himself as one of the country’s most innovative and fresh producers whose recent releases on Aeon (with an Alex Niggeman edit) and Rotary Cocktail Recordings feat. Black Soda have gained plaudits from the House Music community, while his tour schedule is as full as ever, taking in all his country’s major cities as well as some of Europe’s hot spots.

At his gig in Thessaloniki, label boss Idriss D connected with the Greek man and was immediately blown away by the demos he gave him, promptly signing him for an EP.
This has now come into full force as a 3 tracker backed by a stylish remix from Memento’s fixtures Blue Mondays.

“Defeated” Feat. Benji Adeyemo is a 10-minute monster chock-full of Acid synth lines and a catchy vocal performance, drenched in robotic sounds all around and crescendo atmospheres.

“Jupiter’s Jungle”’s punchy snares and percussions and electronic squelching stabs lead the way through a playful melody and a sea of modulated frequencies, reminding of some of the genre’s most iconic tracks.

"Cinamon"'s arpeggios blend into cinematic old school mechanical
loops.

Blue Mondays serve up a classy remix of “Defeated”, turning the original
into a blissfully tender number where all the elements play together
in perfect harmony.
